People say this is bad game-play. I say it's a challenge.
Most usages of it are skippable. It's entirely possible to 100% Galaxy 2 without even touching the damned thing. Done it myself.
Worst power-up in the whole game (Galaxy 2 Included)
It's literally just Mario wrapping himself in a spring, by that logic him putting the F.L.U.D.D. on should count as a Power-Up.
