WarGrey i mean sorta but his quills are defiantly thinner compared to the heroes model which looks more like the modern sonic we know today
If anything model actually looks like a revamped Sonic Heroes model with actual texturing instead of relying on single color and renderware engine's shading at the time.

Big 06 eyebrows, and 06 like quills.
What 06 features?
I always liked the secret rings model. You can see some of sonic 06's features and you notice sonic transitioning into his modern design.

This looks like somebody at SEGA put Sonic's SA texture onto the Sonic SA2 model and called it a day.
