Kaos actually felt more of a threat with this thing, especially after all the evil copies of the Water, Fire, Life, and Undead Skylanders are defeated, he gets all of his health back and the Hydra starts to make things harder (unless you have certain Skylanders that can spam projectiles, has an upgrade that can help avoid attacks from the evil copies, or have some upgrade paths that do wonders for the final fight.)
Man, this thing perfectly encapsulates the unique vibe of the first Skylanders game that none of the others ever replicated. It looks like something straight out of DnD, and is also downright terrifying. You're not alone, @Aquatically404.
