The texture is a shrunken version of the one from the PS3/Xbox 360/Wii U version. There's also no normal or specular maps used unlike those versions. It still doesn't excuse how the developers made better looking GameCube and Wii games before and after this. (Shrek Smash n Crash Racing, The Croods: Prehistoric Party, Turbo: Super Stunt Squad)

@SmashBrosFan97 looking at it closely, the texture does look like it is from the 5th generation of games, kind of hinders the model which isn't too bad if you remove the texture.

@Cabanana I think it's the extremely pixellated textures that give that impression. Those textures almost look PS1-quality if I'm being completely honest.

I get the Wii was underpowered compared to the other consoles around at the time, but this model looks pathetic even for Wii standards, looks like the developers, Torus Games, just took the model from the DS version.
