I know that. I also know that that game was localized as Tetris Attack which beyond being a puzzle game, had nothing to do with Tetris, but had lots of Yoshi's Island characters. Due to the former, when it and Dr. Mario 64 were finally given to Japan as they are in the West (albeit in a compilation title for the Gamecube), the game was renamed Puzzle League.
She's a cameo from a Super Famicom game called Panel de Pon
