I'm pretty certain that this is literally the Naughty Dog model of Polar; but with slightly different textures and updated ears.

Well it's only seen from a slight distance partially-covered by other models in a single pose for a grand total of a few seconds, and as such more memory uptake from it would have been a waste.
This looks like the PS1 model.
