@Dolphman, they changed it back for the N. Sane Trilogy, and i think he appears somewhere in the mobile game, "Crash Bandicoot: On The Run."
I hope Tiny is changed back to a thylacine once we here what's going on with the series after the PS4 remakes. How did one incompetent developer (Radical Games) confuse a Tasmanian tiger with an actual tiger? One of the reasons those two games sucked.
