You're right, this game won awards because it had nearly no 2D assets. There's more 3D models in that game.
i swore this had more models. ain't no way they just uploaded spyros model
If these pending models go through, I would recommend ripping using a program called Spyro Model Extactor for people to use. Works well and exports with vertex color!
