You never see these guys that up close, so their faces as hilariously cursed

I am impressed with your progress ripping the models from this game. I had actually extracted Mos Espa, a while back. As well as the playable Mace Windu skin that Alexrd released, shortly before the LucasForums shut down. If you look at the layout of it long enough you can see the letters TPM made into the map. The Slave Quarters is the T, the town is the P, and north of the outskirts is a giant M made by the ramps going into town. I found this interesting because Mike Ebert himself said that Espa was the first level they ever worked on and they didn't have much to go off of from the movie yet so early on in development. It makes sense they just made the town itself a giant Easter Egg not having a map, or schematic, or any kind of blueprints like that.

@Petie Having read through the comments there... yeah, that's pretty fair.

It was not announced anywhere. It's something we've been considering for a while and finally did yesterday. There's a brief explanation from RTB here (for now at least - that link might not take you directly to the comment if it gets pushed off the first page): https://www.models-resource.com/pc_computer/plantsvszombiesgardenwarfare2/#comment-77941

Oh. That makes a bit more sense. I wonder why though. Was it something announced on Twitter/X? I would have missed that - I left that hellsite at the end of 2022.

@giftheck: They probably weren't even rejected anyway. The pending submissions lists from every single page were removed and have been set to private so that ONLY the staff and the people who submitted the models can see them

Oof, looks like the remainder got rejected.
They'd be welcome on Groinkick.

these models are so goofy looking i love them

This is so cool!!!! I would love to check the levels design. So many memories...

I do wonder if that's how the levels were ripped, because IIRC doesn't 3D Ripper DX only rip what's rendered on screen? I'd love to rip Gardens of Theed, for instance, I could see that map having some really cool uses elsewhere.

@ggctuk 3D Ripper DX is able to rip from it

Ah, yes, the Gungan Murder Simulator XD
Seriously, though, I wonder how this was ripped.Doesn't this predate the versions of DirectX we can use tools like NinjaRipper for?

@TeridaxXD001 absolutely. Some of the branched dialogue options are just hilarious.

This game is gold. Mostly comedy gold, but gold nonetheless.
