I think most of the models here are okay. In fact, some of them look almost like updated AWE Games models (especially SpongeBob and Patrick)

Same, even though I personally think the models in the official games are great, no SpongeBob game on Roblox, even an official one, will ever beat TSCP.

Fun fact: Some TSCP models are also used in SpongeBob Tower Defense (an officially licensed SpongeBob game on Roblox) with the dev's permission.

Only changed the playable character and boss icons since the icons for the buddies, objects, and buildings are at least (probably) based on the original in-game models.

I am planning to change the playable character and boss icons. The icons for the buddies, mounts, Ruby, objects and SpongeBob's house are at least (probably) based on the original versions of the in-game models.

Those renders are at least (presumably) based on the original versions of the in-game models, like in the Smash Bros. games. But they still aren't the models used in the game. The usage of official renders for some games on this site confuses me, I remember reading about where that's acceptable and where it's not, and the gist seemed to be they need to adequately represent the models included in the submission but where the line was seemed pretty unclear to me. I definitely don't think 2D art is in the grey area though.

i'm not even sure those should be the icons. they look like they're 2D stock art from the show with fancier shading. They aren't representative of the models at all.
