I actually have this skin in the game
There's a lot of minor differences with how the model is done. Both to fit it into Modern Sonic's skeleton and to bring attention to the polygons similar to Classic Sonic's model.

OK, so what differences, if any, are there between this and the original SA1 model? Because frankly, the only real differences I see are HD textures.
can this mean everyone's gonna stop using the fugly fur texture of the original model now? i sure hope it does cuz good riddance

I don't mind that they got rid of the grainy fur and replaced it with straight up blue. Love the model but I always thought the grain was weird. Really my only complaints with it are how the eyes don't move with the Gens animations and the Light Speed Shoes' orbs being slightly squished.
they made the grainy blue fur texture to just plain old blue, it does somewhat look like the uekawa reference sheet for the models with the solid colors tho
The autodemo has the highest quality for the dreamcast models
