This is not a cape, and I can prove it, as the definition of the cape is ''A sleeveless outer garment fastened at the throat and worn hanging over the shoulders'' meaning this is not a cape but a coat, as the definition of coat is ''A sleeved outer garment extending from the shoulders to the waist or below''
