I somehow didn't see you replied and now it's been two years haha! I appreciate the offer at the end of this message but I actually do already know how to use ninja ripper even at the time and it pulled my model but thanks for offering! I'm glad to see you're still at it though I just recently remembered this site existed. I've been grabbing models for references for some art and 3D modeler friends for other projects! Keep up the amazing work!

Hi Zex, yeah these are all from Ninja Ripper. It might be as simple as changing a wrapper setting. If you need any help let me know. Actors export in A-pose at the origin. For monsters, you can also use umodel to export from Offline with rigging/animations.

Nice! I too have been looking for a DQX Online model. I have been following the Dragon Quest series in search of Akira Toriyama's designs, but have given up in the past because I could not find a way to extract the DQX models. If you don't mind, could you please tell me how you extracted them? (I used Ninja Ripper a few years ago, but it didn't work.)

Hey Exalin, thanks for the feedback! Looks like site staff has updated it. Yeah I think at the time I used a combination of wikis (now called the Lightning Luminary in Tact?) and the royal lab description, which was something like 'sacred clothing of a hero who has overcome ordeals and awakened'. I play in Japanese, so I try to keep it brief to avoid goofy translations, but in hindsight probably went a little too safe with just hero. (I think it's the only outfit with hero in the description, but yeah I'm definitely aware she's the hero throughout, haha) I try to reference a variety of sources including Clarity, but for now I avoid using Tact localizations since it's still unclear if those names will 'stick' and yeah there are some odd choices in there, like Rickerd and Peronel. For V6 content, it'll be a while before I get there, but in the meantime I could also help you rip it from your own save file if you want.

Woah everything here is awesome! Glad there's a ripping scene for DQX! And it looks like you guys are using the Clarity names and not some of the wonky localizations tact uses. Nice! Looking forward to later works with the v6 stuff. It'd be nice to have Yuliza's model! Though I will mention the rip labeled "Anlucia (Hero)" should probably "Anlucia (Heavenly Cloak)" or (garment of a great hero) if you're going for more accuracy. It's her V5 outfit and she was established as the hero well before that point haha

@shadowman44 Yeah it's getting up there, started on the Wii in 2012. I think FFXIV re-launched after that. V1 of XIV started a couple years earlier though.

Jesus how long has this been going on for? Longer than FFXIV?

@SeriousPan Thanks! I'm happy to do it. I remember checking over the years to see if any models existed anywhere yet. It's hard to believe I'm the one doing it 10 years later. Hopefully more people will join in! It's a great game.

So glad this game has a ripping scene. So many characters I was worried we'd never get to see. Great stuff!
