I think you can do that with geometry nodes actually, might be easier than trying to prompt for a script: https://blender.stackexchange.com/questions/312411/carve-geometry-according-to-alpha

I wonder if now ChatGPT can make a script for Blender that automatically cuts the "alpha" parts over the mesh...
