@Curious Villager Yes, this is the same creature as the SM64 eel. They used to be named "Unagi" but were renamed to Maw-Rays.
Okay. So, this is the fish that ate Blocky. Now we have to let him out.
Unagi's HD successor.
@GamersUniteYT Seaside I believe (Maybe also in Lake Kingdom) there is that one section where you have to sink deep under water without Cappy where there are a bunch of those.
This enemy's design reminds me a lot of the eel from Super Mario 64, is it based off it/a more modern depiction of it?

thanks! i hate it
Oh god not this thing..
When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie, that's a Maw-Ray.
Where was this again? I've played through Cap, Cascade, Mushroom, Dark (er) Side, Moon, Mushroom, Wooded, Lake, Snow, Seaside, Bowser, Ruined, Cloud, Metro, and Luncheon
@andreelikesplantsvszombies Typo on my part. Has been fixed now.
Because it shoots lasers made of the Pokémon Mew.
Why is it named Mew-ray, not Maw-ray?
