@Doc von Schmeltwick It is silly... for adults. However, with the target audience of these games being anyone, children included, it's very feasible and has in fact been a common thing since 1996...

OMG THAT NIGHTMARE-ISH DESIGN! Seriously, as i mentioned in their Super Mario 64 model, they looked like a simple eel, while here they look like an actual Moray.

@MarioFan11 No it isn't. The model name is "Moray" iirc, but the enemy name is currently Maw-Ray, and was formerly Unagi.
It's called "eel"

The first time Unagi was ACTUALLY scary. Fitting it warranted a rename in all languages except Japanese.....
