That bow tie is cute tho

I really like the backpack and the bow tie. If a SMO 2 comes out, and Luigi is playable, this should be a costume!

@EpicMarioFan101 smooth shading

@EpicMarioFan101 What do you mean?

how do i make him not a polygonal

As long as it's not commercial, obviously lol.

@Supermario11000: What lemurboy12 said. Whatever's on The Models Resource is obviously free for others to use for whatever reason.

given that it's a public download, it's safe to assume you can do whatever you want with it

I don't want to use without permission
I learned that a while ago

please respond!

can I use this model for an npc/pm?

FINALLY!!! A WEEGEE'S BLOON WORLD MODEL!!!
@NaluigiRocks if you're using Blender Render or Blender game, adjust the specular settings or just turn it off. When importing these models, the specular hardness is turned all the way down for some reason, resulting in a pure white model.

He Has Darker Overalls smoother hat better shading a tie a different bag and i think thats it... other than what @Random Talking Bush says

@NaluigiRocks Are you using cycles? They don't work in blender internal, but if you import them while already in cycles they'll show up perfectly :)

How do I get the shiny stuff on the models?

The textures won't appear properly when I use Blender.

@Geoshi: Ah, thanks for the confirmation! I'm guessing the gold balloons are a texture override using the same shader stuff as the coin filter, since they weren't included in the same archive.
And as for the colours, yeah, it's material-based. Check out the "const_color" values in the "Materials (Balloons).txt" file included (those values are what I'd used for the render).
@Fawfulthegreat64: Hm, that's odd, sounds like an incompatibility with the OpenCollada stuff for Blender. But yeah, that's why I've included multiple formats.

@RandomTalkingBush I took a look and yes there are green and purple balloons.
There is also golden balloons in the game when getting the max #50 rank ,can't tell if you got it since I can't find the color Balloon Textures unless there is a palette file?

I'm not sure if it's an issue with Blender, but the .dae file doesn't load the rig correctly (the bones of the spine and everything connected to it are horizontal in front of Luigi, trying to rotate any of those distorts them horribly), but it's fine in the FBX version.
