That is a beautiful render.

hes high poly

this model is 27,000+ polys! 15,000 polys more than the playable

MrGuy it works better in professional model viewers like Blender.

Whenever I open this is a model viewer, the textures are all messed up in his face. Fix pls?

I noticed when I downloaded this model, there are 3 models for the hair. One is for when he doesn't have his hat on, one is for when he does (so his hair can be seen while his cap bobs up and down) and a third model that appears to be his low-poly hair from the gameplay model. If this is the cut scene model, which I assume wouldn't need the level of detail since none of the other parts of the model have any such LoDs, why would it have one specifically for the hair?

How am I able to close his mouth in blender?

@NokNokShell.
True. Too bad Nintendo hates them.

The best model for fangames.

Was this used for cutscenes?

This has got to be my favourite texture work on a Mario model ever.

why do all these models look like they've seen the face of god

NaluigiRocks, It's not.

easily the highest poly mario model ever

its the menu one. I think it was used in cutscenes too.

I think this is his menu/title screen model myself...

I Wonder If This Was Used On The Cutscene Where Mario Met Cappy

Mario should close his mouth. It's gonna get dry and smelly in there.
