Just adding on to Centrixe's comment, one of the Marios that got rejected wasn't even from SMBW at all, someone thought they were funny and tried to pawn off the Mario Party 4 model we already have on the site claiming it was from this game.

I don’t think they look that similar… That Mario RPG model is like nothing we’ve seen before. But they both have a lot more personality than is typical for Mario.
Is it just me, or does big Mario's model look like as if Nintendo reused it for Super Mario RPG Remake?

@DigitalDiamal: I'm not sure, actually? That goes for the Chibi's as well. I took a quick glance at the queue (I haven't looked at it since launch) and, as expected, it's a mess right now. Pending submissions that are uploaded the day of or week of a newly released game tend to be rushed, broken, incomplete, etc. That may explain the elephant. Splatoon 3's queue in the beginning was a bit worse. For example: one of the pending Mario's isn't from Wonder – it's... a single Mario model from an much older game. One of the Peach models still has .ZS files left inside too, heh.

For the record, I don't think any Mario character is "superior" to the other. I just ripped Daisy first because she's one of my favourite characters in general, and it's her first playable role in a mainline Mario title. I still love 'em all! That said; I'm sorry for the wait on ol' Mario here. Trying to juggle work and personal life stuff along with having the motivation (and some ability to focus) to work on my own rips during any free time has been difficult.
