Edit Mode. Scale/position until fitting.
Rename the Vertex Groups in Object Data Properties by double-clicking on them.
Change each name to the bones that Splatoon 2 uses (Ankle_R > foot_R, Spine_3 > chest).
And then parent/apply modifier as usual.
Atleast, that's how I'd do it.

@TyBurger3D Modify as in rename armatures/bones on the clothes? And possibly resize the models (which I also can't quite figure out)
@CrownGamer901 You can do it, you just need to modify he models to fit them.
Probably a weird question is it possible to equip this on a model from Splatoon 2? Or is that not recommended?
