@WannaBeDev I just noticed after I read that
@WannaBeDev she is propably sad about trainers having their Pokemon always get hurt in the battles. Joke aside, as Doc von Schmeltwick already mentioned, her sad looking face comes from the low angle in this Preview image. In the games, you always see her from a high angle of somewhere between 30 and 45 degrees( which stems from the original 2d Games, which used a similar angle) which makes her mouth corners appear, as if she is smiling at you.
Neutral mouth with this style of eyes, on a low camera angle making the mouth look like a frown due to it curving around her face, that's all.
