@Darkliger01: You're right. My only guess is that it probably got some hate because in the original anime and perhaps even more in Pokemon Generations, she is very voluptuous (curvy) and seductive looking. You can look for yourself:

I don't know why Lorelei's new design is getting so much flak. If anybody actually pays attention to her original RBY sprite, you'll notice that, aside from the rework, it still looks close to her original design.
