@Trikeboy you mean the ones from that one image in the manga?

Isn't blue the "true" nameSpoiler: WAS THAT AN UNDERTALE REFERENCE? of smelybuts

Green???

i like MatPat's theory which does actually make sence after all we have seen similar things in the Pokemon Reburst Manga

stop hating on mat pat

No reason to @ me twice in a row in the same comment.
Also, GT rubs me the wrong way very much with their MEEMZ and not taking their hobby seriously anymore.

@DocvonSchmeltwick @Doc von Schmeltwick ,there is a Game Theory about why she is in the cave

This girl's got spunk, Spoiler:attempting to catch a human in Pokeballs five times in a row.

Is there a version of her with the two hidden Pokeballs she used to fight Sabrina?

@Trikeboy: Doesn't help she's also wearing Blue...
Just like Green was wearing Green in Sun/Moon.

She will always be Blue to me.

That one was at least partially because they didn't want to be sued by the real-life M(ike) Tyson, who the boxer in the game is based on. But yeah, the "switch around" translation style can be confusing and annoying.

Yeah. I always knew Red as Red and his rival as Green.
Seems a bit weird her name being Blue Green here when I thought most knew her as Leaf.
It's very very confusing.
I have the same issue with Vega, Balrog, and M. Bison in Street Fighter...

@Ayumi Would you happen to be Japanese? They aren't like that in the West. Green became Blue in translation, since the pair released in the West was "Red and Blue."
Basically, in Japan, the rival character is "Green." In the West, he's called "Blue."

Wouldn't Leaf's name supposed to be Blue?
Green is "Gary".
Green is "Gary".

I didn't realize they'd remember her at all, I mean, conceptual stuff from that long ago...

As in the intended female playable character for the original, but had to be scrapped due to time constraints. She eventually became Leaf when the remakes came around.

Wait, as in the Manga character?
