I just want to say, yes. Yes this game was not great, but no. No the art style wasn't necessarily bad, it was inconsistent. You go from "squished" to Sword/shield character models, and while I'd prefer them sticking with the battle models, the squished designs are kind of what the Originals looked like! =)

@Andreaaw Most of the models likely use the same models. The games were made by ILCA, so they likely were given the Sword/Shield assets to make the game. I'm not too sure myself.

Do these games use the exacat same models for Pokémon from Sword and Shield? I think they doesn't because Sword and Shield Pokémon models have a thin gray line in the border. But I don't know if I am correct.

Dawn!

what does the R G B images mean?

Smoll

chibi!

@Peardian what program do you use?

@Sneakyerz I don't know what to tell you, but when I download Cheryl from this site, I see the same original normals as in your own rip.

Damn, that was so fast! I guess it makes sense, being made in Unity, which people know how to rip from.

How did you guys export the models from BDSP as FBX from AssetStudio? I'm having trouble trying to find their hierarchy.

@Peardian I used all verisons of Blender and even used Noesis to see the normals, no original normals where shown for me? Checked any options for .dae files to show their normals but nothing...
Here's the images of Cheryl from this website VS me extracting the model by myself

@Sneakyerz The models do have their normals, and the .DAE format does support normals. Whatever program you're using must not load normals from .DAE models.

@mariosonic500: I thought the same thing when I looked into this game's files. Then shortly after, I found out that it was made by ILCA - the same developer that made Pokémon Home, which also runs on Unity. So I guess it's not that surprising.
@Lilothestitch: The only other way that I know of is by downloading a ROM for said game online (not going to say how for obvious reasons).

One problem with these models is that they're exported in .dae format, meaning that the original normals did not get exported. In order to get the original normals to work with the models, you need to export them as .fbx.

HAH! Finally! Can't wait for the Trainer Class models. They're literally the best thing about the game - perfect adaptation of their DS sprites.

@DogToon64 I’m trying to get the assets from that game so that I can convert them to MMD but I don’t want to mod my Nintendo Switch. What do I do?

Sorry for the question, but when could I post the Metroid Dread Archives !?
the game takes longer than
Pokémon Brilliant Diamond / Shining Pearl that came out just a few days ago, I think it was so that we could have some models here of dread and also of More METROID games.
Well I don't want to press them either, I know that it takes time but Metroid does not have many files per page and it is seen that it is very slow with this saga, compared to pokemon but hey I hope to see soon the Metroid Dread and Samus retruns models A GREETING AND HUG.

I never expected a Pokemon game to run in Unity. I mean, it doesn't really matter what engine they use, but I think it's neat.

Fischer Price called, they want their Little People back. XP
