How do you even rip models from this game? I have obtained the ones from Bluwolfboy but apparently when the models are imported in Blender the eyelids that are normally swapped out on certain characters (e.g., Yoshi, Donkey Kong and the Sonic characters) are merged into one mesh, as the models themselves are imported as FBX files rather than in the DAE file format used in other models in this site (and for some reason, Blender merges stuff with FBX into one single mesh). The textures themselves work though...as the person behind the models added PNG versions of the textures alongside the DDS versions (in some of my 3D renders I use for Deviantart, the textures from that game are reused on different models I obtain).

It's kind of sad that this game didn't much attention, even after the actual Olympics are over...

For those curious about the PBR maps here, they're a little different from Sonic Forces' PBR maps.
Ambient Occlusion maps are now stored in the alpha channel, and Metallic maps are now in blue. The red channel is now reflectiveness. Green channel (smoothness, invert for roughness) is the same.

We need more characters submitted. Might be able to rip but I dont have the gsme. But I do have the switch toolbox and the emulator

The dds files for this game's textures are weird. They won't convert with a DDS to PNG converter, and no online converter recognizes them either. Is there any documentation of them?

So, I'm just wondering, how do you rip models from this game? (I remember someone made a massive all models rip on google drive, but everytime I open the models, the textures don't work and I can't seem to convert them from dds to png) so I guess I'll have to figure out how to rip them myself, lol, anyone have any forums for ripping from this game? I did attempt to rip from Rio 2016 Olympic Games 3DS version, but I extracted the files and then got stuck not knowing what to do since, much like Sticker Star, the files were nothing like Smash 3DS or Kirby Planet Robobot or Mario and Luigi Paper Jam or New Super Mario Bros 2 (I plan on submitting some Kirby Planet Robobot rips and I ripped Lemmy and Morton from Paper Jam and then made a custom Larry in that style, and I have NSMB2 rips to submit) but all that is besides the topic, lol, can anyone link me to forums for ripping from this game? Or are those not really a thing. If they're not a thing, I apologize for asking, heheh.
