I like how they kept part of the pathway leading to the Mumbo's Mountain entrance room behind the boulders on the right, even though you'd never be able to see that during gameplay. That shows that they basically ported this interior model directly over from Banjo-Kazooie, but modified the lighting, props, and removed parts of the level to make it seem completely different.
The portrait of Gruntilda here is just the lower left portion of it. I remember an old video presenting this in a freaked out manner like it was part of some bigger Stop n' Swop mystery. Ahh... such times.
