Since when they had Hololive in Yo-Kai Watch?
The game has been getting new content every two weeks for 10 years straight and counting.
The franchise as a whole, is a different story, now is in a weird state.
According to LEVEL-5 CEO, the mainline games are currently on hold.
Akihiro Hino admitted he wasn't really happy with the last titles (Yo-kai Watch 4 and Y School Heroes) development and they didn’t sell well because the brand was completely oversaturated back then, and they never released outside Japan.
They mentioned that they are thinking about how to innovate the franchise and want to take all the time necessary to deliver a product that satisfies everyone, but looking at the mountain of announced games that either lack a release date or have been delayed, I don't expect anything new from Yo-kai Watch other than Puni Puni content for a veeeery long time
