The reason this design was so drastically different from literally every other Spyro design is because it originally wasn't supposed to be Spyro, it just got color swapped into him.
I think the worst thing about this design is how unnecessary it was. Why not just use a design similar to the classic one, like the Skylanders version of Crash Bandicoot? Why even come up with a brand new design, let alone an unappealing one?
Good grief, Disney Infinity models are tons better than this!

@DigitalDiamal I personally kinda like the design, but my main gripe is the people who attack people that like Skylanders or Spyro's design and say ridiculous things like "it ruined spyro".
