Richard was found!!!
Update: Richard has been found! The creator Gushiavo finally understood what I desired and I acquired the file today. I will not make it public, as Steam will take it down as it unintentionally crashes games, but if you're interested, shoot me a message and I will send you an unlisted link so you may enjoy Richard. Thanks to everyone involved in the hunt!
There he is, Richard Watterson (Playermodel/NPC) himself...
I've been looking for this model for the better course of a month and was at the point of believing the copy of it on SketchFab was a model made by a fan, but now I see that I was very wrong. For those who don't know, I am on the hunt for an old deleted Garry's Mod addon that was removed from the workshop recently this year after being published on April 12, 2022. It was dubbed "Richard Watterson (The Amazing World of Gumball) (Playermodel & NPC)", and the Richard NPC had the astounding ability to crash the game if it was killed. I've never seen lua done badly enough that an NPC could crash the game instantly on death (not even a frame of the npc dying will render), but regardless, my friends and I found this hilarious that Richard Watterson of all things could do this, and better yet, we could now use Richard as a sort of ultimate deterrent. You wouldn't shoot at a man if he had Richard nearby.
Anyways, besides asking the internet at large if anyone had a copy of the .gma file, I was additionally looking for the creator, who I did find last week, "Gushiavo_N2". However, he is from Chile, and despite several days of talking with him he still doesn't seem to understand what I'm asking for and his friends in his discord have about as good as luck as I do with communicating with him. (He seems more interested in talking about Hotel Transylvania) Thus, I'm back to square one, and I'm back to waiting if anybody comes forward with a saved copy.
Gushiavo is interesting, however. Looking through his workshop (especially the comments) its clear he has stolen a few addons, sometimes adding "reupload" or "fixed" on them even though nothing was changed. The addons he does work on 'himself' are typically collabs with random people, and I've noticed the people he makes them with are constantly changing. And, best of all, like Richard, every single addon he has is full of errors or just completely broken. So I ask, if any of you guys know anybody who possibly helped Gushiavo make Richard, or if you know anything at all honestly, I'd like to know.
To check your own files if you possibly have Richard:
•Your Gmod Steam Workshop folder: Steam/steamapps/workshop/content/4000 (you're looking for a folder called "2793532309").
•Your addons folder: Steam/steamapps/common/garrysmod/garrysmod/addons/ (You're looking for a file called something like "richard_watterson_(the_amazing_world_of_gumball)_(playermodel_and_npc)_2793532309.gma", it's not exact, this is just a good guess of what it would be called, the old discord embed I have of the addon cuts off after "playermodel"...)
• Your cache folder: steam/steamapps/common/garrysmod/garrysmod/cache/workshop/ (You're looking for a file called "2793532309.gma")
