Update: Just go into the ZIP file with windows explorer and dragdrop/copypaste it out. Turns out the files were encrypted! Which can also be disabled via right-click in windows explorer, hit properties, and then on the first tab "advanced".
For some reason it can't be extracted with 7zip. I get an error about unsupported method.
