@SpyrotheDragon2021: If you look at the Hyrule map model, you'll see that Ganon's tower is beyond the mountains. While it should still be visible on the edge, the devs probably removed it because it was barely noticeable or hidden completely in the cutscene preceding the flood.

Why is the Hyrule Castle now gone?
