That is a Massive model
this bowser model looks modern
Super Mario 3D land has the worst reuse of this model ever(removed bones,cramped UV and textures and the fingers are close)
And without the extra padding on the neck.
Until Mario Odyssey, Nintendo almost exclusively used this model, just with better textures

The GameCube was super ahead of its time. Models from this era were often reused even for Wii.
