@Rosejes1: The Yoshi model is black so that shaders can change it into any color dynamically.

Wait isn't Yoshi supposed to be green or is that his default color?
Shouldn't this be in playable Characters since you can control him?

@NH1507 Low poly or not, Mario Sunshine and most GameCube games in general had REALLY solid lighting effects and other tricks to make their grahpics never seem to age without the use of hacks.
Wow that's low poly. Love the lazy work on the textures. Especially the floating nostrils.

@dcv This is the default model. He's also shown starting as green and changing color while hatching.
there is no green Yoshi in Mario Sunshine except for when he runs out of fruit juice and in the Beta
