He's still "Sabre" even though DP64 became Star Fox Adventures??

Thanks for the info/correction @Gilda! I'm just now seeing your reply almost a year later haha. I was gonna append the correction myself as I just learned about it in the Dinosaur Planet community server not too long ago, but you've explained it better than I would have been able to.

Actually this is incorrect @greasebone96
This was done by duplicating the mesh several times and assigning 8 textures depending on how many it was duplicating at the time. It duplicates the mesh super close and does something called "shelling", which is a very old and efficient fur technique still used today.

@infiniteseekerjenny Stuff like fur and hair that we saw in-game on the characters themselves isn't really able to be ripped with the models and their textures, sadly. All that nice fuzzy fur we saw were the work of particle systems, along with (I'm guessing) stuff like weather and background elements (falling autumn leaves near Lightfoot Village, etc.). I'm a noob with 3D, but I'm pretty sure that's the reasoning behind it.

He's got fur ya know

Frankly, this is the best fox model yet IMO.

FINALLY, THANKS!! :3
