the doctor requested his meal, and I will be the one to cook it right up for him.

@Heitorsant It's Mecha sonic Mk III, not Mk I.

Best Sonic robotic copy EVER

furnace before he was furnace

I always wished you could play as this..

These textures are broken. Missing colors, misaligned textures, it's kind of a mess. :/

@YoshiGa, that cameo was dumb, and besides, they should turn this model into high-poly, and then use it for the next sonic game. The textures look good, the tries and polys are the only things that need changing.

@ittan And yet they never used it for anything besides a cameo

It's interesting that this doesn't match any of the prior or future Sonic robots. Metal Sonic looks more or less identical but this guy is seemingly completely original!

But it's not even silver-colored, it's dark gray/near black....

No, I call it Silver Sonic. It's that in the comics, and plus, "Mecha Sonic" (The Japanese and only name) is what they call pretty much every robot, even Metal Sonic. For distinction, I call this Silver Sonic.

@SONICKABOOM That was Mec(h)a Sonic.

This rather odd name originated from the Archie Comics, where a robot based off of this was called that. (Said comics also referred to Meca Sonic as Silver Sonic, the fallout of which I am still working to clean up.) What I'm curious about is whether the internal file name is the same as the one in the .zip here, in which case it should be retitled to "Mecha Sonic," because that would be the closest to a game-official name we'd have for this.
