@VengefulWhitetail: There's still a couple of cutscene easter eggs where he can be seen, they didn't remove him entirely from the GameCube port.
I love the irony of Big being listed in the version of the game where he never actually appeared.

@Draco Rex, he appears in a few stages and in the background of some cutscenes if you press the jump button at the right time.
