i know why they put him and the others in "non-playable characters" but it's still funny, because, if you plug a second controller, player 2 can actually control the character that's tagging along with shadow. yes. even Maria.

ITS DIFFERENT FROM HEROES??? SINCE WHEN!? also the cutscenes models are different too!??? Hopefully we'll get sonics cutscene model with eyelids
this is unironically my favorite sonic model
While it's true that the returning character's models are from Heroes, they are actually from the PS2 version of Heroes, not the Gamecube. Due to how Sonic's shapes are more polygonal looking.
The body is basically the same
The hands are actually separate meshes unlike Heroes though and there's no extra eyelid meshes
