I like the neat detail of the cups actually being upside down

Bit of a shame the idea never came to be because it sounds much more imaginative than "right is now left". I'd certainly take playing a few tracks backwards over the all-cup tour modes

I really hope they add this feature to a home console Mario Kart one day. This is a more interesting idea than mirror mode IMO.
