I'm pretty sure this was the first game where Monty was ever playable, unless there was a few instances beforehand that I'm forgetting.

@AMontyMoleFan Mario Super Sluggers seems to reuse most models from Mario Superstar Baseball. For the playable characters, they use higher quality versions of the Superstar Baseball models.
