Does all GameCube Mario games reuse models from this game?
Sounds awesome! However, I don't like the sound of needing to manually fix important aspects of the model. I recommend on holding off on using the tool until those major issues have been fixed. I don't want to have to reject a bunch of poorly fixed models.
We now have newer tools to rip these models, thanks to the efforts of KillzXGaming making a model editor for the GameCube Mario Party games.
Do note though that manual fixing still needs to be done to these models, such as weighting the facial expression pieces to their appropriate bones and fixing mesh sizes and offsets.

are the character models the same in the other games?
@BigBellies Unless you're also dumping the map that comes with the area for the cutscene, I'd say no, and would have dumped both the skybox and the area for the cutscene of the genie. I would have put it in a section labeled "Maps" or "Areas" or something along those vains. Try asking the forums of VG Resource for further tips from some other rippers.

Yay! My Genie of the Lamp model went in! ^^
I really like that since this was a very early GameCube game it uses the N64 designs for some characters. Giving us almost high poly N64 models!
