This isn't reused from MKDD, if you look at both models in a model viewer they're obviously different.
@TheMorningFlash15 I actually agree with you on that, since it's compact.
But now we actually have much more compact, like the 3DS series,PSVita & Nintendo Switch!

It's amazing how the DS could handle high poly models like this. This is a model that came from Mario Kart Double Dash on Gamecube.
