Technicaly someone could do that, the level geometry shows obvious tiling. Though i doubt Shinen will ever do that.

@Eeveeloverthespriter8 Guess what just came thru today. Pupils and all.
I hadnt Fully grasped vertex colors at the time and didnt know how to bake them. I've reripped the model and redone the thumbnails, it'll be a while before it goes through though
If you look closely at the other Thumbnail, you can see that the Pupils are still there.

One problem with Blender (At least in the older versions from as far as i know) theres no option to show Vertex Colours and Textures at the same time. If i figure out a way i'm gonna redo the thumbnails

Yeah i do, thats cause the Pupils use Vertex Colours. The Alarm Clock model is almost nothing but that. It's commonly done in old games to save on resources for DS games it's not Uncommon to use it.
