Fun Fact: Gurgle model with texture from DS can be found in 3DS version (especially in this path model\MiniGame\Tunnel_Passage\gurgle.bcres)
Yeah it's weird, i didnt even know there was a 3DS version till recently.
It's funny how this of all games got an exclusive remake for the 3DS years after its' original release.

this game is ahead of its time, didnt this movie come out after we could get good higher poly models in games? (xbox 36, ps2?, esc.)
man these models all look surprisingly pretty good. These character designs translated to low poly super well.
