Yeah like @Junonoon said, it's a tricky one to translate to 3D. We have had one side profile of him (Mario Paint sprite) but usually we only see him from the front. Even the official model from Mario Maker 2 is just a flat model

@Inflames14 @Aquatically404 he's blue because that's his colour in the "mute background music" sprite. Originally thought the mask was a surgical mask, ala 2020, but the idea of him suffocating makes me wonder if Mario literally silenced him with chloroform...

To be fair its one of those charter desgins that would be very weird to model in 3D since there are side or back profiles I dont think only an image of what the dogs head looks like from the front
