Aug 18, 2015 4:42 AM Ray Koopa Asset: Bowser's Castle Well, it's not the model breaking itself. It's 3DS Max breaking the model. (And I have to do that step to work with it in Blender). So it's more a tool-related issue, the BFRES import scripts themselves are working fine. I'm writing my own BFRES-to-DAE tool anyway, to get rid of this 3DS Max annoyance.

It seems weird though that a model would essentially break itself after being exported.

Aug 17, 2015 7:00 AM Ray Koopa Asset: Bowser's Castle I'm capable to do it for _some_ track objects right now, but due to an issue I can't convert _most_ track objects at this moment.

I know the objects in the tracks (they're referenced in the BYAML files and easy to pick out), so that's no problem.

I can also import them into 3DS Max. However, I optimize the models and correct issues of them in Blender, and 3DS Max messes something up when exporting it to Blender.

E.g., I cannot do _most_ track objects right now. People who are good in 3DS Max should be able to do it, but not me (yet).

(Example: I imported "KoopaClaw", which is the object name for the giant lava koopa seen on this map, into 3DS Max, and it looks okay there. But when I import it into Blender, all his body parts are smashed together in one giant blob.)
