I just spent the last 12 hours researching Elite II's model systems, and I am now just surprised we don't have these all ripped, because wow, we got A LOT of documentation, WITHOUT any ripping.
The good news is that we have access to the Elite source code, so reverse engineering the game to procure the vectors for all of the models we can should be easy. Now if only we could say the same for Elite II...
a BRITISH game console being the first to do 3d graphics? peak
Consoles likely to be ripped: ZX Spectrum, Tatung Einstein (What even is that), Apple II, NES, Archimedes, Electron, Genesis. Never gonna get ripped/Likely never ripped unless some miracle of a homebrew: Atari 2600, Odyssey
Proto Starfox
have we gone mad or what
it's on the electron too. even less powerful than the micro.
i do not know, but it's on the NES as well
HOW. THIS IS AN 8 BIT COMPUTER. HOW
1984-this is the oldest game ripped by far
there might be other wireframe games before it though, and I, Robot

Both of them have models rendered in wireframe and flight simulation aspects, yes. Elite is much slower-paced and is focused a lot more on trading, though. Doesn't really have traditional levels, either.
So is this game like X?
