Most likely, yes since the Trial model is more-or-less the finished model wearing Sonic's regular shoes.
is this the same as the sa2 trial model?
Probably because these were the shoes Sonic was intended to have in the first place, and the SOAP shoes were only there for a cross-promotion before SOAP went bankrupt.
Though oddly enough, SA2 Sonic with normal shoes has been in more games than SA2 Sonic with SOAP Shoes.
seeing SA2 Sonic with the normal shoes just feels off for some reason
