I would honest-to-god say that this game's graphics are on-par with or even BETTER than Mario Kart World, they're absolutely STUNNING.

I remember playing this game at an arcade in Florida (I mained Don-Chan)

Hi everyone, I've made a model ripper for this game if anyone wants to populate this page a little
https://github.com/Blurro/MKArcadeGPDXTool
Has full rigging and everything, soon I'll create the reverse that builds the game file from a .dae too

@applecuckoo I know that, I’m just pointing out that Luigi is upcoming, since there’s not a lot of models here, which is sad

@StrikinOcto Keep in mind there are a whopping 6,535 models waiting in the queue and there is only a small handful of staff running the site. The admins will get to Luigi eventually.

I attempted to upload Luigi a little while ago, and I'm still waiting

I did commit some digging and discovered that this game uses a slightly modified Triforce engine that was used for Mario Kart Arcade GP/2.
Smash Forge do support the triforce engine (for it being basically Melee's engine).
All we'd need is to adapt the importer of Smash Forge to support the .bin used by this game.
also last point: the files are in little endian

@MrOhoats I agree. He's like: "I wanna talk to Namco now."

Pac-Man looks really fed up with his new design.

Fans And Model Rippers... I Did It, Check This Out, I Finally Ripped The Models From The Bin Files https://www.deviantart.com/bbgofficial/art/W-I-P-Mario-Kart-Arcade-GP-DX-Model-Rip-1-832527486

If anyone wants to try to rip models from the game, here is the only available tool (originally meant for switch game modding but it kind of evolved)
https://github.com/KillzXGaming/Switch-Toolbox/releases
also, know those things:
-armature may fail to come properly
-mesh may be messed up
-UV are flipped

That wasn't even a request. I was thinking if more were coming.

No.

Are there more coming soon?

I remember reading the trivia section of this game on the MarioWiki that Mappy appears in the Namco-themed tracks. Is his model low-poly though? I'm curious.

It's run on a specific version of Windows 7, with specific specs, and with a model format that I don't know how to open. It's not as easy as it seems.

Real-Talk: MKGPDX is run on Windows, so doesn't that make it relatively easy to get your hand on a copy of the game and rip models?

A few courses would be nice, along with the objects that appear in the courses too.
