This game uses the basic 3DS model format, which Every File Explorer (partially) supports. I haven't checked in on the progress of EFE lately, but I may be able to get the island now.
As for the apartments, they use compressed bump/normal maps, which I am still trying to figure out how to fix in Texture Remix.
