The Japanese version of the icon seems to make Dark Spyro's model less "fierce" looking and more like how he usually looks.

Yeah lets ignore Imaginators for now- (Curse ro-bow on my wallet...)
all 5 of the CANON games have 3DS versions. Superchargers' was also on Wii since the original game had no chance of running on Wii. Imaginators did not get a 3DS version; it instead got a Switch port. I know a lot about these games. (The canon thing was a joke btw)
To my knowlage giants and swap force were, i dont know about trap team and the rest. We need a tool that can break open the files toys for bob and vicarious visions have for these games, ive got the files extracted from the 3ds version of the first game but not the tools to open the .arc and .bld files
Weren't the other games on 3DS though? At least I know Trap Team was, I own it.
Edit: They did, up to Trap Team and the Wii and 3DS got racing game that uses Super Chargers Vehicles and characters.

It's actually pretty interesting how different this game is from any other entry in the series. I believe it has its own non-connected story and doesn't even feature Kaos as a villain. Instead, it introduces a new villain named Hektore.

Yep! Vicarious Visions made it, originaly it was going to be a console version port but they couldnt get the framerate right. They used the 6 months they had left to make the version we know today. I wanna grab the models from the game but the format and lack of tools is what roadblocked me, i was able to grab the banner though.
There was a 3DS version of the original Skylanders?!
